Brilliant event budgeting

Brilliant event budgeting…

  • Makes stakeholders happy
  • Leads to greater return on investment
  • Sets the stage for overall event success

Event budgeting requires organisation and clarity

Event planners bring tremendous value to a team and if you think that your
event doesn’t require a planner, you may be underestimating the full extent of the job.

At Twist we bring years of combined experience, across all types of events
including conferences and award ceremonies, product launches, training, team building and sports.

In doing so we’ve created an incredible network of suppliers and we’ll share all the benefits of these relationships to go above and beyond for you and bring you events that are quite simply out of this world.

Here are our top tips for event budgeting and making every penny count…

1. Build your budget from the get-go
2. Check the budget often, add more detail as you go
3. Make sure everyone on the team understands the budget
4. When it comes to finding venues, make sure they have all the facilities you need and understand the costs of any extras
5. Get multiple quotes, compare for quality, materials and delivery as well as cost – generally speaking you get what you pay for! Don’t be shy, negotiate a deal that works for all parties
6. Be flexible and willing to re-work the budget if necessary
7. Remember, the success of an event is judged by the experience of those that attend and can’t always be measured in £ and pence, so don’t forget to capture feedback
